Job Description:

As a Information Technology Specialist on the TIPSS2 contract,
the individual will support the Product Assurance Division of
the IRS with activities related to Systems Acceptability Test. (SAT).

This individual will be responsible for testing an application
within IRS that automates many collection tasks for the IRS.

Activities will include analysis of requirements, development of
test script and test cases, predetermined results, RTM and execution
of test as well as analysis and documentation of test results.

Individual will participate in test readiness reviews.

Responsible for development and maintenance of deliverables and work
products under the work request.

Individual will create and maintain project schedule and be
responsible to provide weekly status reports and have the ability
to address customer issues/questions as needed.

Must have strong written and oral communication skills as this
position requires interaction with the customer as well as
other organizations.

Education:
Bachelors degree in related technical discipline or equivalent in
a related field and 7+ years of specific experience.

Required Skills:
Individual must have knowledge in the general area of IT and
IT/Telecommunications infrastructure.

Must have 7 years experience in general area of Information Systems
with specifics in testing.

Prior work experience with IRS and experience in real time and
batch processing on a Unisys and IBM mainframe, have experience
with COBOL, TSO, JCL, ECL, and UNIX .

Individual must be able to work in a team environment.

Must be able to focus on meeting schedules and objectives.

Must have experience in meeting critical deadlines while maintaining
flexibility to respond to changing requirements.

Candidate must have an active MBI or a recently expired MBI.

Desired Skills:
Knowledge of SEI Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI).
