Location: downtown Toronto
Rate per hour: $47
Position Description:
As a member of the corporate process management team, the consultant
will:
Provide consulting to process owners and management on all aspects of
process management, including design, documentation, tools, metrics and
methodologies
Provide consulting, support, and process design expertise to process
improvement teams, project teams and process reengineering teams
Facilitate and document results from process design/implementation
workshops
Facilitate as required, process improvement teams and process
reengineering teams
Provide principles and standards for process documentation, process
design, process measurement, monitoring and reporting
Evaluate processes and carry out projects to provide recommendations
for improvement
Benchmark best practices for selected processes
Establish and manage a process documentation repository and provide
change management for changes to processes in the repository.
Champion for process management and continuous improvement within hp
according to established performance expectations;
Manage client relationships and provide specialized support to the
organization,
Monitor implementation of Process work packages or projects to ensure
success.
Monitor the completion of major milestones and if necessary reassign
project priorities to maintain the project schedule. this includes
monitoring the involvement of internal and external resources.

Additional Information:
Extensive, proven process management knowledge, including process
engineering and continuous process improvement/TQM,statistics.
ITIL/ITSM certification
Superior analytical and problem solving skills.
Good facilitation, consulting, change management and project management
skills
excellent technical/soft training skills
Ability to effectively manage multiple activities of varying complexity
and multiple competing priorities while under time constraints.
Good working knowledge of the technology operations business
Proven presentation, interviewing and communication skills, both
written and verbal.
Developed knowledge of the practices, procedures and principles
relative to large operational/processing service area.
Expert knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint)
Ability to operate presentation technology (computer & projector
Expert knowledge of MS Word (97, 2000, and XP) and Visio
Must work within specified company templates
Experience with training sessions and coaching process users
Ability to work in a virtual environment- facilitating workshops,
facilitating training, participating/leading meetings
