Job Description:
Need AIX / UNIX Admin
AIX/Solaris Certification.resumes are not considered
without having the certification.


Mid Level UNIX system admin with minimum 5 years experience in Solaris
System Administration. Thorough understanding of Unix Operating system
principles - paging and swapping, inter-process communication, device
creation/management and what device drivers do, file system concepts,
security and network administration, performance analysis and tuning.
Thorough understanding of principles of TCP/IP networking, Unix system
and network security.


Experience installing and configuring the Solaris 8 Operating System.
Experience with Veritas Netbackup 4.5 and Veritas Volume Manager
Experience with Shell scripting using Ksh, Csh and Perl
Experience with Apache web server.
Experience with Sun Management Center
Experience with SAMBA and Nessus software.


Sybase DBA experience a plus but not a requirement.


Documentation and communication skills are critical success factors.


Ability to work well in a small team and independently are required.


Ability to take ownership and develop best practices in both
maintenance and engineering aspects of server administration.
