Will routinely perform programming of components, assist others in
developing programming skills, perform batch inspection using engineering
drawings, conduct first articles, and support a variety of engineering
studies. Will work closely with product line and R&D engineers.
Must have minimum 7 years related experience in mechanical metrology, with
3 years of related specialized training (examples: ASQ certification as
CQT or CMI, OGP SmartScope programming, Pro-Engineer knowledge, experience
with X-ray equipment). Must have detailed understanding of engineering
drawings and GD&T; proficiency in PC-DMIS (CMM software) programming
skills; standard surface plate methods; highly skilled in manual
dimensional measurement techniques; significant experience in performing
first article inspections; clear understanding of MRB, drawing and
inspector duties. Must also have capable writing skills to complete
reports, NMRs and assist in SOP maintenance. Solid documentation skills
are needed; must be able to work in a fast-paced, structured environment.
Ability to train others. Prefer ISO/GMP work environment experience.
Proficient communications skills to interface with various levels of
employees and coworkers.
