Our client, a New Jersey based software support company has an immediate
opening for a Application Developer - Synon

Requirements:

- 3+ years in an application development environment on the AS/400 with
RPG400 and Synon/Cool:2E/Advantage 2E application development experience.
- Experience with Data communication concepts C Programming language is
helpful.
- Experience SQL preferred.
- Unix and Java development experience helpful.
- AS400 development experience in complex systems in a multiple developer
environment.
- Synon/Cool:2E development experience.
- RPG, RPG ILE and Command Language Programming (CLP) development
experience.
- API development experience helpful.
- Scripting language experience.
- Experience with integrating AS/400 applications across different platforms
- Exposure to JDBC and UI development
- Designing, coding, implementing, maintaining and supporting within the
ICOMS customer care and billing system.
- Interpreting business requirements as they relate to customer care and
billing systems and translating those requirements into specifications.
- Strong analytical leadership and organizational skills are a must.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communications skills are
required.
- Must possess independent problem solving skills.
- Self-starter and willing to work overtime and weekend's if necessary.
