Our Client creates analytic solutions that automate and improve decision strategies. Most leading banks and credit card issuers rely on these solutions, as do insurers, retailers, telecommunications providers, healthcare organizations and government agencies.

Job description

Responsibilities:
• Conduct original scientific research and technology development within a team or of peer scientists and software engineers.
• Develop and augment an innovative code-base that implements the research of the scientific team.
• Utilize strong writing and presentation skills to:
• Create written reports for research sponsors
• Present research to sponsors at conferences and meetings
• Participate in driving research and innovation via the proposal/grant proposal process

Requirements:
• Master's degree with 10 years or more of experience with a history in strong publication record in a numerate scientific or engineering field such as physics, electrical engineering, or machine learning.
• Significant experience and publication record.
• 3-5 years of experience or a strong publication record in a numerate scientific or engineering field such as physics, electrical engineering, or machine learning.
• Competence with advanced Bayesian methods
• Experience with UNIX, C/C++, scripting languages, or substantial experience with equivalent languages and tools
Additional Qualifications

• Course work or experience with information theory
• Course work or experience in database design or knowledge engineering
• Previous DoD security clearance

Conditions:
$95K to $110K on a permanent position.
