Associate Product Manager - ATMs wanted -

Position Specification

1. Company

Founded in 1986, our client develops and supports automated teller
machines (ATMs) and other self-service terminals. It also sells remote
ATM monitoring and management software, and accessories including
signage and surge protectors. The company markets to the banking,
entertainment, gaming, hospitality, and retail industries.

2. Product Manager, Self-Service Terminal Products
This position works closely with the Development, Marketing and Sales
to bring to market new product/solutions, execute the entire process of
a product lifecycle and effectively communicate and position the
product internally and to the market.

3. Location:
Fremont, CA.


4. Duties and Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
· Product Management
· Coordinate with internal and external parties in managing the
product lifecycle, from concept to design, beta test to
mass-production. Major areas of tasks and skills includes:
- Understanding of the product and it's target markets
- Planning, forecasting and project scheduling
· Manage ongoing relationships with channel partners, creating and
implementing joint product development and sales/marketing initiatives.
· Participate in planning and preparing for industry tradeshow and
conference.
· Business Development
· Work with Sales in Identifying and developing opportunities in the
enterprise and vertical markets for kiosk and other Self-Service
related products.
· Create documentations related to Sales/Marketing programs.
· Assess market needs and develop market requirement specifications.

5. Education:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or technical field.

6. Experience:
· Must have a good general mix of experience and knowledge of
business development and product management.
· 2-3 years experience marketing to the financial industry or
equivalent experience in product sales to the financial industry.
Kiosk, retail and POS experience a plus.


7. Required Skills:
This a fast-paced environment with changing priorities, so initiative,
flexibility,
innovation and team focus are essential qualities for success. Must
have excellent
analytical, organizational and communication (written and oral) skills.
Must also be PC proficient.
