CA~ Central ~ Corporate Controller ~ Agribusiness



Select candidates are being sought for this unique opportunity with an
industry leading agribusiness entity.



Reporting to the CFO the incumbent's principal responsibility is to provide
timely and accurate financial accounting and reporting in order to promote
efficient operational management and conservation of the company's
resources.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities



a.. Directs the accounting activities of the corporation including general
ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
b.. Develops, promulgates and enforces a system of financial and
operational policies and procedures designed to promote financial control,
to enhance the financial position of the corporation, and to meet the tests
of the independent accountant.
c.. Administers a financial accounting and management reporting system
designed in accordance with current pronouncements of the Financial
Accounting Standards Board (FASB) and in compliance with US generally
Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) as well as State and Federal
government requirements.
d.. Administers a fixed asset accounting system which provides
depreciation expense reporting in compliance with the regulations of the
Internal Revenue Services, US GAAP accounting, and which protects the
Company's physical assets.
e.. Works with financial and operational peers to design and administer a
cost accounting system which allocates administrative expenses equitably
among he Corporation's lines of business in a manner consistent with prudent
cost containment and profit optimization.
f.. Work with the CFO to prepare presentations for periodical Board
Meetings and interact with significant stakeholder groups.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities



a.. Proven interpersonal skills essential, ability to communicate
effectively both in writing and orally, ability to establish and accomplish
objectives within an entrepreneurial environment.
b.. Knowledge of general and cost accounting systems, strong Microsoft
Office skills.
c.. Corporate finance.
d.. Financial systems ability to administer an integrated general ledger
and financial reporting system.
e.. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions
from groups of managers, clients, customers, and/or board members.
f.. Ability to lead and motivate a highly skilled and trained accounting
staff and to provide career growth and opportunity for those interested.


Education and Experience



a.. Four year college degree in accounting.
b.. CPA Certificate.
c.. Public accounting experience with subsequent private industry
experience.
d.. Proven ability to meet dynamic financial reporting requirements and
maintain high quality, timely GAAP financial reports.
e.. Knowledge of SEC reporting and Sarbanes Oxley.
