DESCRIPTION:
Job Description
As an Analog/Mixed Signal applications engineer on clients Global Accounts
team,
you will be contributing to the success of your team of applications engineers
and account managers
by increasing the deployment of clients' analog/mixed signal software in named
Major Accounts
located predominantly in the western United States. You will be: - Supporting
analog/mixed signal
tools in pre-sales and post-sales situations; - Helping Account Managers
identify and qualify
the match-up between global customer needs and clients' analog/mixed signal
tools; - Illustrating
the value clients tool brings to global customers by assisting global
customers in their evaluations
of clients analog/mixed signal software by developing and delivering software
demonstrations and
technical presentations; performing benchmarks for global customers. -
Assisting global customers deploy
clients' software to solve their design challenges; managing and coordinating
the technical
relationships between global customers and the clients' Global Account team and
product marketing.
Occasional travel is required. This travel is normally limited to short
one-two day trips in the western
United States.

Qualifications
Transistor-level analog hardware design or experience with analog/mixed signal
tools including
spice or "spice-like" simulators. Telecommunications component design, RF
design, VHDL, Verilog, or Analog
Artist knowledge/experience is a plus. Communicate effectively in verbal and
written form. Build strong rapport
and credibility with customer organizations while maintaining company internal
network of contacts. Ideal
candidates will also have 2 or more years of sales experience working in a high
paced team sales environment,
with strong communications and interpersonal skills. Minimum Qualifications:
Four years of design experience
and a BSEE required. MSEE a plus.
