DESCRIPTION:
Position: Systems Interface Engineer/Architect
Location : Central CA
Salary: 90-105k
Full relocation is available

Systems Interface Engineer/Architect will design the computer Architecture and
verify that the platform interface that the computer systems will fit on/within
the vehicles is designed correctly.
Lead systems engineer responsible for interfacing with development
contractor(s) to establish requirements and interface baselines to the C4
systems network. This person will manage the vehicle (land based, Humvees,
tanks, jeeps, trucks) interface from development through fielding.

This Engineer/Architect will help establish the requirements, support
integration and test of vehicle systems computer configurations, and will
support the delivery and integration of the computers and networks into
vehicles. The selected individual will maintain a high level of participation
with the external vendor in order to ensure the correct system interface
requirements are met for the project/company. MUST be able to ensure vendor
products meet or exceed system interface requirements in the next generation of
land based military vehicles.

Must have a BS and 8 years of experience (or MS with 6 years exp) with
designing and integration of interface systems. Must have excellent
communication and presentation skills as he/she will be in daily contact with
corporate and on site contractors. Must be able to see both the ‘Big” picture
of the systems and the details of systems integration and related interface
issues. Any military vehicle system integration is desired.

Must be a US citizen and be able to get a secret security clearance.
