CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT

Our firm represents a large and reputable international public safety
systems provider. They are currently looking for an Accounting Manager
to join their Montreal team.

The main responsibilities include:

1) Plan, organize and direct the accounting team;
2) Employee supervision;
3) Monthly consolidation, review and reconciliation of divisional
financial statements;
4) Monthly close and forecast as well as supporting sales and
operations managers with financial reports;
5) Prepare monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliation;
6) Prepare weekly and monthly financial review material;
7) Prepare yearly tax credit claim to the appropriate authorities;
Contract review for revenue recognition compliance;
9) Maintenance and support of financial systems;
10) Assist in the development of executive, sales, operations, and
branch financial matrix;
11) Document the process enhancements;
12) Interact with Senior Management and divisional managers on all
matters pertinent to internal financial reporting.

Qualifications:

1) Bachelor's degree in Accounting;
2) Accounting designation such as CA;
3) 5 years proven experience in financial analysis & accounting;
4) Experience in preparing financial presentations;
5) Experience and knowledge in several functions within Finance
(Budgeting, Consolidation, Performance Reporting and Financial
analysis);
6) Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel;
7) Excellent communication skills in English and French.
