Citrix Consultant

Mindwire has an immediate opportunity for a Citrix Consultant to work
with one of our Ottawa area, public sector clients.

Background

Our client has implemented Citrix Presentation Server v4.0 for Remote
Access connectivity as well as to provide access to resources from
bandwidth challenged sites over the our client's WAN.

The purpose of this contract is to hire a Citrix Professional resource
to configure, document and implement Netscaler and Citrix Access
Gateway equipment in the development and production environment to
provide for high availability and redundancy, improve performance and
improve the security posture for this service.

Activities

The assistance of the Citrix Professional resource will be provided by
the way of designing, documenting, configuring and testing the
implementation of NetScaler and Access Gateway (AG) equipment and
setup security (filters) on the AG module to meet our client's
requirements. Activities will include the build, documentation of web
servers for high availability and associated configuration to meet
business needs and planning and scheduling of activities associated
with this deployment.

Mandatory Skill Sets Required

- Current and extensive experience working with Citrix Presentation
server 4.0 or later (5 yrs or more)

- Current hands-on experience in performing configuration, testing and
implementation of Citrix Netscaler and Access Gateway (AG) appliances
(and filters - ACL).

- Current experience configuring and supporting Microsoft Windows IIS
6 web servers and performing security hardening.

- Recent experience in developing technical documentation (3 years or
more)

- Experience developing schedules, project plans

- Proficient in written communication - English

Contract Deliverables

- Review business & technical requirements with HC Citrix Lead
Technician

- Develop & document design of NetScaler pair and Access Gateway (AG)
configurations, including web server components.

- Develop planned activities and schedules for implementation in
development and production environments
- Setup, integrate and test Netscaler and Access Gateway equipment in
development environment

- Recommend and configure Access Gateway filters

- Document configurations, create network diagram in MS W ord and MS
Visio of Netscaler/Access Gateway setup, including web servers.

- Document transition steps to introduce and migrate new components to
existing production environment

- Assist in the configuration of NetScaler pair , Access Gateway
equipment and web servers (as required) in the production network.

- Assist in the testing phase of NetScaler /Access Gateway equipment
in production network

- Provide 3rd level support during introduction/migration of
Netscaler /Access Gateway and Web server components in production
environment

- Provide knowledge transfer to HC Citrix Technical Lead
