Database Developer

Required Skills

* Strong understanding of T-SQL, database design, transactional and
merge replication, and data centric application architecture * Proven
track record of designing, developing, and delivering commercial
products on Windows XP and Windows Server 2003. Attention to
performance, reliability and availability of the products is
necessary. * Well versed in object oriented programming with
experience developing in C# and the .NET 2.0 framework. * Working
knowledge of Internet technologies, communication protocols, and
techniques. * Excellent verbal and written communications skills. *
Solid problem analysis and troubleshooting skills. * Passion for
working on challenging customer issues and providing a superior
customer experience. * Self-motivated; works with minimal
supervision.

Responsibilities

* Provide software and database support for internal and external
customers. * Perform analysis and diagnosis of technical product
issues; identify and implement remedial procedures. * Write scripts
and tools to facilitate data analysis and problem isolation. * Work
with the development team to provide code and data centric fixes as
appropriate or follow through on escalation of issues to development
engineering or product management. * Champion product diagnostics and
serviceability features. * Be responsive to the expectations of sales/
application engineers and customers.

Education

* B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent plus 5 years applicable
industry experience.
