Position: C ++ Developer
Location: CA
Skills: C++ / Unix or Linux, XML
Duration: Long Term

Job Description:
The successful applicant will have responsibility for designing,
developing and maintaining large scale software projects.
Excellent C / C++ / Scripting / Database skills are required along
with an ability to work with an active group of developers in a fun
and fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills will allow the applicant
to work directly with customers as well as providing technical and
procedural guidance to the

project team.
Work with technical managers and internal customers to help clarify
project requirements.
Produce detailed design specifications from Functional Specification.
Code projects from design specifications.
Track and report development progress and problems.

Required Skills:
4+ years of software development experience in a full life cycle
environment Strong level Backend development skills.
Experience with C / C++ .
Experience with XML, XSD/
DTD
Experience with UNIX or Linux is required.
Experience with Pro*C or Embedded SQL is
required.
Experience with either Sybase or Oracle is
required
Experience with Scripting Language like Perl is preferred

Experience with Tuxedo is preferred
Working knowledge of source code control systems and configuration
management practices is required
Working knowledge of design and implementation Service Oriented
Architecture (SOA) is required.
Working knowledge of object-oriented analysis and development
methodology is preferred.
Exposure to Complex Brokerage or Financial Systems is preferred
Experience with Batch Frame work software like Control + M is
preferred
Experience with Java is preferred

Minimum education:
BS or equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, software
engineering or mathematics with 3 to 6 years related experience, or
equivalent combination of

education and experience.
