Dover, NH Software Engineer (Full time)

Greenlight Professional Services is currently recruiting for a full
time Software Engineer on the behalf of our client located in Dover,
NH.

Summary:
Personnel in the role of software developer are responsible for the
design, development, development test, product introduction and
product support of sophisticated software for the automation and
control of complex printing industry equipment. Main tools for
implementation are C++, XML, and Visual Basic.


Requirements:
· C++ expert
· Printing equipment knowledge or control of complex machinery
· Object oriented design experience
· Human machine interface development expertise
· Visual Basic
· XML
· Experience with JDF / JMF great to have
· Knowledge and practice of good software configuration management
processes
· Experience at software product introduction and support


Job Functions:
· Design and develop software solutions for the automation and
control of printing, binding, folding, and inserting equipment.
· Assure successful introduction of Printing Industry products
· Work in a team environment open to peer review.
· Apply defined SQA, and SCM processes
· Assist manufacturing as required with new product introductions
· Support field service technicians with system troubleshooting.
· Follow software release and archiving procedures
· Follow policies, procedures and Engineering standards
· Exercise good written and verbal communication skills
· Travel to customer sites to support new equipment start-ups.
· Modify master code for customer orders as required per contract

Education:
MSEE / BSEE / MSME / BSME / BSmath / MSphysics

Experience:
5 - 15 years
