decided to upgrade from existing Vignette V6.0 Content management
system to the Vignette V 7.3 CMS built on J2EE platform.

BT whole sale a strategic decision to migrate wholesale billing system
from mainframe based OneBill system to open GENEVA Billing System.
Technical solution was required to transfer order processing data from
mainframe to oracle based Geneva billing system instantly when the
order is closed and CDR (call data records). Data mapping was required
for data coming from mainframe to map data as per XML schema provided
by Geneva. Existing application CHESS (based on IBM MQ) is used
receive order events and subsequent Web Service call is used to get
order data.
