Description:
Job Summary:
Leads the organization towards achieving its business goals and
objectives on the basis of profit and return on capital. Responsible for
directing the strategic development, execution, and delivery of account
initiatives; ensuring continued growth and profitability.

Principal
Responsibilities:

Collaborates with the Group Chief Executive Officer and the
organization's senior management establishing short-term and long-term goals,
objectives, plans, and policies for the organization.
Motivates and leads a
high performance senior management team; attracts, recruits, and retains
members; mentoring and enabling professional growth and career development.
Collaborates with setting goals and objectives, monitors progress, assists with
performance development, and measures job performance. Maintains open
performance and development communication.
Provides leadership to the
organization offering advice, guidance, direction, and authorization to carry
out major plans, new service offerings, standards, and procedures consistent
with established policies.
Collaborates with the organization's senior
management to ensure that operations are being executed in accordance with
company goals, objectives, policies, and procedures. Reviews operating results
and takes steps to ensure that appropriate measures are taken to enhance
results.
Collaborates with the Chief Financial Officer overseeing adequacy and
soundness of organization's financial structure.
Leads the development,
communication, and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes.
Identifies and seeks out new business opportunities and expansion of existing
accounts.
Develops and generates written proposals to meet client marketing
strategies. Leads and participates in client pitches.
Builds and maintains
strong client relationships.
Advises clients on message development and
marketing strategies.
Interfaces with clients and key thought leaders to help
facilitate initiatives.
Effectively develops, organizes and delivers compelling
oral presentations from one-on-one client meetings to group new business
pitches.
Presents company's capabilities to ensure clients have a clear
understanding of the company's complete offering.
Collaborates with senior
account staff with directing the strategic development of projects and programs.
Performs overall account analysis to enhance profitability through operational
changes, staffing changes, client renegotiations, etc.
Ensures that projects
and programs are completed accurately, on time, and within budget. Responsible
for overall profitability and growth of accounts.
Initiates and participates in
strategic and tactical brainstorming sessions across all initiatives within the
company.
Establishes and maintains an effective system of communication
throughout the organization.
Keeps abreast of market news, trends, and
competitive activity.
Performs other duties as requested.

Education:
BA/BS
degree; graduate degree a plus

Experience and Skills:

Minimum 10 years
medical communications experience
Minimum 7 years management experience
Possess high-level ethics and integrity
Excellent interpersonal and
communication skills (verbal & written)
Must possess team building
capabilities
Proficient in areas of management and development
Self-motivated
and able to motivate others
Strong strategic and analytical capabilities
Sound
judgment capabilities
Superior problem-solving skills
Ability to manage
multiple tasks effectively & efficiently
Strong presentation skills; ability to
influence others
