Database Administrator
Minimum requirements include a Bachelors' degree in Computer Science
or other related field required and three years experience as an
Oracle database administrator, preferably in a research setting.
Master's degree preferred. Experience with database schema
development, tools such as SQL and Perl for report generation.
Facility with UNIX computing environment, experience with applications
development in C++, Visual Basic, or Java. Web applications
development experience a plus. Good technical documentation, written
communication and presentation skills, strong interpersonal skills
required. Familiarity with applicable data privacy regulations such as
HIPAA and project management experience in a team-oriented environment
required. Any appropriate combination of relevant education,
experience or certifications will be considered.
