We are in need of a Cognos Impromptu report writer in Orlando for a 6 month contract in Orlando. This contract will most likely be extended. The primary duties will be to work with Business users to create detailed reports. Will need to be able to drill down and create some fairly complex reports too.
Requirements:
Recent and extensive experience using Impromptu version 7.0.
Experience with complex report writing techniques such as conditional formatting, drill throughs, filters, sub-reports. Experience with PowerPrompts is a BIG plus.
Some experience with metadata modeling.
An understanding of database table relationships (ie. inner joins, outer joins, etc.)
Prefer some previous work on a live transactional (OLTP) database.
A working knowledge of Oracle 8i or 9i with experience creating/modifying views and writing SQL queries.
Requires very good verbal communications skills.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.
