FL~Tampa: R&D Architect

Newly created position due to company growth. This is a full-time (permanent) position offering competitive salary. Local (Tampa Bay) area candidates will only be considered for this opportunity.

You will assist in the development of Architectural directions, including modeling systems, and evaluating new tools and concepts. Assist in design and development of specifications for Web based applications, the design and development of Data Warehouse applications, and in the design of services in a SOA architecture in a language neutral environment (C, JAVA, PL/SQL). Will also assist in the integration of application with SAML token based security system.

Skills/Experience Required:

BSCS or equivalent four year degree (MS Computer Science a plus).
At least 5 years of experience working as an Enterprise Architect.
2+ years Web Portal experience with J2EE.
3+ years Data Warehouse experience.
Solid verbal communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.

Skills/Experience Desired:

Experience designing/building Web Services.
Experience with Application Security (SAML Tokens, roles, etc.).
Designing services implementing brokers under Service Oriented Architectures (SOA's).
Experience Modeling data relationships using Erwin.
Designing Object Oriented systems, modeling with UML with System Architect or Rational Rose and designing with Patterns a plus.
Knowledge of XML, XML Parsers, XSLT, and developing XML Schemas.
Experience with J2EE application servers and JSP, Javascript, Servlets, Applets, Jakarta Struts, and JSF a plus.
Middleware, SOAP, JMS, Oracle, RMI, SSL, certificates and encryption a plus.
