All anybody cares about around my company is efficiency. We have high
inventory, low sales, and are producing as quickly as we can!

I'm scared by the multitude of management philosophies out there. How
does one wade through the @#$% and choose the right path?

So why are you producing what you can't sell?

There is no "right path". The rightness of the path is only visible in
retrospect. What works for Company A is not necessarily going to work
for Company B.

This said, your company seems to be headed for disaster. You need a
sales team as energetic as your manufacturing team. You also need to
think about whether your assessment of market potential is inflated; if
so, you may have to scale down your production...

Cheers,
