~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
The Area Coordinator's (AC) primary responsibility will be to
lead business development activities across multiple agencies
within a specified geographic region. AC must possess a wide
range of expertise, relationships, and interpersonal skills
appropriate for the federal market. This position will also be
responsible for successful contracting and project execution,
working closely with regional HNTB staff and office leadership.

Key characteristics of the position include:
1. Experience leading federal agencies contracts within a
geographic region, and a network of key relationships with agency
clients. ACs will have comprehensive knowledge of federal agency
clients in their regions and will have trusting relationships at
the most critical levels.
2. Experience and understanding in federal business development
and marketing and a proven track record of success.
3. Experience in federal contracting and delivery methodologies,
such as design-build, IDIQs, FAR regulations, etc.
4. Ability and willingness to sell and represent multiple
disciplines to federal agencies. Strong understanding of HNTB's
national core services and expertise. ACs will “manage” the
client relationship and guide the application of HNTB services in
the best interests of the client and HNTB.
5. Strong local government and community relations; active in
local civic and federal organizations.
6. Knowledge of and established relationships with regional
alliances, partners, and consultants.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; 15+ years of
experience. Excellent communication and team building skills,
