Position Description:
The Infrastructure Engineer IV is accountable for planning, installation,
support and management of all voice and data technologies operating in
corporate and data center environments. Responsible for ensuring the
availability and integrity of key business and operational systems including
Avaya PBX, Intervoice IVR, Cisco Routers, Switches, Firewall and Content
Switches, Intuity Voicemail, Messaging systems and LAN/WAN services.
Responsibilities also include serving as a technical expert for network
management, assisting with root case analysis and problem resolution,
performing routine system maintenance, supporting the use of defined processes
and procedures, coordinating technology infrastructure problem resolution
activities including escalation to external suppliers when necessary,
supporting the infrastructure and technology change control process, and
working with key business partners to ensure the appropriate availability and
performance for these systems.
 
Skills/Experience:
Bachelor's degree and advanced professional certifications required. 7+ years
equivalent work experience required. Voice Services (Avaya S8700, Avaya
Intuity, Voice over IP, Intervoice IVR, CMS, CTI, TFN Management, Toll Fraud,
ACD Design, Call Accounting, Contact Center Applications). Data Services (Cisco
Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Content Switches and VPN Concentrators, Load
Balancing). Analog and digital technologies (ISDN PRI, T1, DS3, OC3, Frame
Relay, SS7, SIP-T, H.323). Routing protocols (TCPIP, OSPF, BGP, DHCP, DNS).
System Monitoring (MOM, NetIQ, MRTG, Ciscoworks). Operations Management (ITIL,
MOF, ITSM, Remedy). Security Management. Development Cycle (Project Management,
