Our client in a niche and interesting company in Ottawa is searching for a
key member of the s/w development team.
Being responsible for enhancing and maintaining development tools and
systems within the company makes you indispensable.
Product builds,
Planning and deployment of s/w migrations
Plan and implement a lab reservation system
Source code control
Problem tracking
Test case tracking
configuration management
operate and maintain development and QA tools and systems on an on-going
basis
Computer and networking hardware configuration
Distributed team environment
Linux, Windows, Perl, VSS Source code, Remedy, Bugzilla, Subversion
If you enjoy the backend of all the systems and want to get your hands into
everything that is going on in the development team from configuration
management to builds, migrations and maintenance and system admin, then this
is the position for you.
You will make the s/w development teams life just so much easier.
They are looking for someone intermediate to senior for the position as you
need to be up and running not just learning on the job.
