In our Ottawa office, we have immediate positions available for entry level
J2EE Designers / Developers to join a team of Java Engineers. You will be
a key designer / developer in the creation of this new development projects
and have a large input on the systems architecture and implementation
strategy.

The Java designers / developers will be responsible for the majority of
coding within the life-cycle of the development process. Developers will
also perform research and proof-of-concept development for non-standard
features
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
You will
· Assist with the architectural components of the application,
focused on the object model, database, and application design
· Create Java bean components (and JSP's) to integrate with all
business and web based systems
· Help install, configure, and manage the database and any J2EE
application server's within the scope of the project
· Responsible for all lifecycle aspects of development (coding)
through to unit testing of the application and all necessary prototypes.
· Interact with client project team to perform and verify system
integration testing
QUALIFICATIONS:
· 2+ years of co-op or development experience with J2EEApplication
Server
· Development experience with JSP's, Java, Java Beans, , HTML and
HTML
· Knowledge of Tibco or webmethods messaging systems would be an
asset
· Java Bean (EJB) experience is a major asset
· Experience with an RDBMS or OODBMS (Oracle would be ideal)
