Java Position:
Education, Experience, and Skills Required
a.. 5+ years web software development experience
b.. Understanding of web standards (XHTML, CSS, etc)
c.. Excellent verbal and written communications skills
d.. Bachelor of Science in Computer Science degree or equivalent
experience
e.. Programming experience using HTML, Java, Java Server Pages (JSP), Java
Servlets, JDBC, Java Enterprise Edition technologies, O/R mapping
(Hibernate, Toplink), Jave Web Frameworks (Struts, JSF)
f.. Proven knowledge and understanding of secure coding practices
Desirable Qualifications
a.. Experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) and Programming
Language/Structured Query Language (PL/SQL)
b.. Familiarity with SDLC, Quality Standards, and Best Practices
c.. Experience with designing and developing intranet applications
including working with business users to update and maintain departmental
sites
