JDA, AS400, RPG Consultant - 3KC

Position: JDA, AS400, RPG Consultant
Location: Kingston
Contract: 6 Months
Rate: $50hr - $70hr



The Senior Application Developer candidate will be required to perform
analysis, design and programming in an AS400 environment. This includes
experience designing, writing and supporting conversion and interface
programs. The position requires experience with Control Language (CL), RPG,
DB2/400 and OS/400. In addition the candidate should have experience with
the following programming utilities: Programming Development Manager (PDM),
Source Entry Utility (SEU), Code Editor, Screen Design Aid (SDA), Data File
Utility (DFU), Query/400, Operations Navigator, Interactive SQL System
Development Life Cycle experience. Other responsibilities will require the
candidate to:
. Meet with key members of the technical team to update and / or
inform on the status of various projects
. Provide technical assistance / mentor less experienced team members
. Provide off hours system support as needed

Education:
Bachelor's Degree in computer technology field

Experience:
. 5+ years AS400 programming experience (RPG)
. 5+ years experience in a retail information services environment

Requirements:
. Strong interpersonal skills / good business acumen
. Ability to convey ideas / concepts to others
. Strong communication skills
. Ability/willingness to mentor and provide support to other team
members learning new tool sets
. Experience with JDA applications: MMS, E3 (Advanced Store
Replenishment/Advanced Warehouse Replenishment) and/or Arthur Allocation
applications, preferred
. Retail distribution and supply chain systems experience preferred
