JOBS @ PROCOM - C/C++ VxWorks / Embedded Developer

Procom's client a world leader in the development and design of
innovative telecommunications solutions, is currently looking for 4
Senior Engineer(s) to fill long-term contract positions within one of
its most successful development teams in Ottawa.

Primary role:

As part of a team of 75 experienced engineers, the candidate(s) will
take an active part in contributing to the design and development of
the second release of an industry leading IP telephony product.

Mandatory technical skills:

* 5+ years of C++ and C.
* 5+ years of embedded development experience in VxWorks/Embedded
Linux/QNX OS
* 3+ years of experience working with routing protocols including
TCP/IP.
* 2+ years of ISDN, VoIP and related protocols
* Experience developing drivers
* Embedded kernel development experience (layer 2 or 3)
* Experience with PowerPC family of processors.

Mandatory personal skills:

* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Able to work with both design and verification teams to achieve
objectives
