Junior Software Developer
Responsibilities:
* Develop, unit test, document, and support whole systems and
subsystems for a variety of business modules such as flight booking,
flight planning, flight management, call center, and sales tracking
modules * Execute tests and communicate issues to development team *
Manage the periodic build and release of custom-developed applications
* Able to develop and code changes to existing in-house applications *
Act as a technical liaison between I.T. and other company departments
to assess and respond to the needs of the business
Skills and Qualifications:
* 2+ years object oriented software development and database
experience working on several successful projects; Borland Delphi,
Microsoft .NET a plus * Database programming experience using SQL,
stored procedures, functions, and views; SQL Server 2005 a plus *
Familiarity with HTML, Javascript, DHTML, CSS, AJAX a plus * Ability
to work independently, as well as, part of a small development team *
Capable of managing time across multiple tasks * Excellent
communication skills with the ability to understand business concepts
and their impacts on existing development efforts * A do-what-it-takes
attitude and a personality that thrives in a fluid and ever-changing
environment
Desired Prior experience:
* BS in CS, Engineering, Mathematics, CIS or equivalent is desirable *
Full life cycle software development experience * Startup company
experience is a plus
