TekSource Canada is currently seeking a junior Software Tester for this four (4) month contract opportunity beginning June 2nd. 2008
Eligible candidates must have valid security clearance.

Must Have:
- Experience with Test Director (defect logging and manual test script execution (creation of test scripts is not so important since we will be reusing many existing test scripts)
- Experience in Quality Control and software testing, i.e. Performing different Testing methods like functional testing, system testing, load testing, regression testing, performance testing
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Ability to pay attention to details
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Ability to work within a team
- Not afraid to work long hours to complete all tasks assigned.
- Working knowledge of ORACLE would be an asset
- Working knowledge of LoadRunner would be an asset
- Ability to provide weekly status reports

QA testing experience with client server or Web based architecture. Experience with Mercury TestDirector would be an asset but is not mandatory. Some experience with another testing tool used for executing test scripts and logging defects is mandatory.
Good communication skills and work habits are a must.
