If you have been waiting for a sales position with work-life balance, this
is the job for you! We represent a global leader in pharmaceuticals,
consumer health care, and animal health care products. This well-known
pharmaceutical company is launching a new sales force of part time
representatives and we want you. These are not temporary or contract
positions; they are long-term direct positions.
As a Flexible Territory Representative, you will call regularly on
appropriate health care professionals in their offices, and support the
promotional effort behind the products on the promotional schedule
(P.O.A.s) by giving complete sales presentations that provide fair balance
for the health care professional as contained in the package insert. You
will support these presentations with appropriate literature, samples, and
special programs. You will maintain a current and competent level of
knowledge on the Company product line, the competition, and the physiology
and therapeutics involved with these products in order to be a reliable
source of information to the health care professionals in the territory.
In conjunction with the District Manager, you will establish specific
objectives and plans that will provide the coverage of the territory
necessary to support established promotional programs. You will review and
analyze sales and call reports, as received, and revise or modify these
objectives and plans accordingly. You will continually prospect for
appropriate new customers, and evaluate the sales potential of existing
customers. You will communicate opportunities, competitive activity, and
business events to the District and Area Business Director or
Sales/Marketing management as appropriate. You will complete all call
reporting responsibilities in accordance with current procedures. You will
distribute samples to only licensed practitioners, and will follow all
sampling regulations.
You will provide for the needed study time, during off-territory hours,
required to learn medical and product information, as well as to maintain
company supplies, equipment, and records. You will prepare for and attend
all required sales conferences and training classes. You will undertake a
program of self-development, through available resources or your own
initiative, and continually strive to improve sales skills and
performance. You will stay current with any study programs assigned. This
