LIFE CYCLE MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Amtek Engineering Services has an immediate requirement for Life Cycle
Management Specialist to provide services at Department of National
Defence - Director Quality Assurance to support service related to
military land vehicle reapir and overhaul. This position is located

Civilian Trained Personnel
Graduation from a two (2) year technical program offered by a
recognized technical institute;
--OR--
Eligibility for registration as a technician by a recognized
provincial licensing body;

--AND--

Minimum of thirty-six (36) months of demonstrated practical hands-on
experience in a maintenance management related activity;

Canadian Forces Trained Personnel
Qualified to the QL6 trade level in a related technical field;
Knowledge of evaluation, preparation and implementation of technical
documentation;
Knowledge of the preparation and distribution of Integrated Logistics
Support (ILS) documentation;
Knowledge of any DND environment Engineering and Maintenance
Management System; and
Working knowledge of maintenance system interfaces with the Canadian
Forces Supply System (CFSS) and a DND financial/ managerial accounting
system. (Working knowledge is defined as theoretical and practical
knowledge of the subject matter required to successfully perform
related duties and task efficiently and effectively.)
Possess at least twenty-four (24) months in the last ten (10) years of
practical hands-on experience in a maintenance management related
activity for military land vehicle systems;
Proposed personnel must have a minimum of twenty-four (24) months
demonstrated experience in the last ten (10) years in either:
i. Performing military vehicle mechanic and/or vehicle technician
tasks associated with the servicing and repair of military vehicles;
or
ii. Performing electrician and/or electrical technician tasks
associated with the servicing and repair of military vehicles.
Possess a minimum of twenty-four (24) months of demonstrated
experience in the last five (5) years in the use of a network computer
system including Internet and Microsoft Office applications (Excel,
Word, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook).
