JOB TITLE: Lead Hardware Engineer
LOCATION: South Portland, US-ME
JOB TYPE: Direct
SALARY : $80000 - $98000


DESCRIPTION:
THIS POSITION IS LOCATED INTHE UPPER MIDWEST, REGARDLESS OF POSTED CITY AND
OFFERS FULL RELOCATION ASSISTANCE
YOU MUST BE WILLING TO RELOCATE TO BE CONSIDERED.
Lead Hardware Engineer with SAR and GMTI experience. Individual must have
solid understanding of different signal processing architectures and be able to
develop correct architecture for different applications. Knowledge of industry
available image/signal processing architectures is required.
Requires, strong hardware design and analytical skills with a degree in
physics, engineering, or related technical field and experience in
transitioning image processing algorithms into FPGAs and/or ASICs.
Provide hardware architectural solutions for image exploitation on Synthetic
Aperture Radar (SAR),Ground Moving Target Indication (GMTI) and EO /IR
applications such as geo-registration, geo-location.
Desired experience with image processing, multispectral, EO/IR imagery
exploitation, imagery location & registration, geometric, and/or assisted
target recognition algorithms.

Will work in team a environment with software and systems engineers to develop
solutions and with hardware engineers in implementing solutions.

Requires minimum of Bachelor's degree with 8+ years experience.
