We’re looking for a star lead development representative
The lead development representative will join our seasoned sales and
marketing team to help support sales programs. Reporting to the
Director of Marketing, the lead development representative will kick-
start the sales cycle by qualifying all inbound leads and by
uncovering how our technology relates to their business issues.
Working in a very dynamic environment where your energy and ideas will
always be valued, this is not your typical inside sales position!
• Key driver in generating business opportunities
• Research and qualify inbound and outbound leads across North America
and Europe
• Document traction and plan next steps using Salesforce.com CRM
• Develop strong relationships with customers and internal
departments, specifically our sales team
• Continually strive to improve our processes and tools to create best
practices for the team such as call scripts, objection handling, needs
discovery questions, etc
• Work with our ecommerce experts to continuously develop new creative
ways to obtain leads
• Help nurture interest with prospects over time through multi-touch
communications
• Represent Elastic Path at trade shows, seminars and conferences as
required
It’s as important for you to find the right company as it is for us to
find the right candidate. We believe there are some unique skill sets
required to succeed in this position:
• 2-3 years of experience in phone-based sales combined with
outstanding customer service skills
• Knowledge of sales process, software solution selling and experience
using CRM software
• Superior communication skills
• A proven track record of exceeding goals
• A high level of energy with an extremely positive attitude
• Strong business acumen and the ability to relate technology benefits
• Availability to work full time with some flexibility around hours
• An ability to organize, multi-task, prioritize and work well in a
time-sensitive sales environment
