List of IT employers?

Hello,
I am a Canadian that is enquiring as to employment in Australia. I am
a Senior Java\J2EE Developer and it seems I shouldn't have much trouble
aquiring a work visa. However, it seems impossible to find a list of
IT companies to contact regarding employment. Every browser search
comes back with a recruiter or head hunter site. I generally much
prefer dealing with companies directly.

Does anyone have any advice regarding Auatralian IT job boards that are
not recruiters?

www.seek.com.au is the usual site that you would check. Some companies
advertise directly here but its mostly agencies.
If you want to talk to companies direct you may need to get some names
via www.yellowpages.com.au.
If you find a better way I would love to hear about it.
