Applications Engineer
Responsibilities:
With minimal supervision from the Applications Manager, works with a
team of Applications Engineers and/or Applications Architects to
perform a variety of tasks which include writing, testing and
documenting code, writing programming specifications and interfacing
with users
Project assignments evolve from medium to large and moderate to
difficult.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience plus 3 - 5 years experience
in health care information technology
Required:
2+ years experience programming in Magic for Meditech Magic
administrative/financial applications (ADM, BAR, ABS, MRI)
2+ years experience with advanced Meditech NPR Report Writing.
Experience with PICIS OR Manager (Client Server) or MIDAS Quality/Case
Management system.
Proficient in HL-7 messaging standards.
Prior mid to large scale project team experience.
Familiar with various desktop and server operating systems (Primarily
NT/Windows 2000)
Proficiency in the use of the Microsoft suite of products
(Excel/Word/Access).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (including formal
presentations).
Preferred:
Experience with Boston Workstation or similar scripting software
Experience programming with Visual Basic
Experience with creating macros in Meditech Report Writer application
Experience with Crystal Report Writer
Duration: Permanent
Rate: 60-70K
