Overview:
The Endeca Platform Team is seeking a stellar team oriented Engineer /
Architect to join our team. We are looking for individuals with a strong
software engineering background that either specializes in web
application framework experience or middle-tier Java/systems experience.
Engineers will be working on the breadth of the entire product including
web based configuration, cluster management, and data acquisition. We
are looking for an individual to offer hands on contribution while
participating in the architecture of the system. This individual is role
is expected to step into a leadership role in the development
organization with an eye towards potential future management of
individuals.
Qualifications:
* Graduate degree in computer science, or substantive experience in industry.
* Strong familiarity with a diverse set of languages and technologies.
* Ability to grasp the complexities of large distributed systems.
* Experience developing in a J2EE environment.
* Outstanding programming skills in Java.
* Ability and desire to work in a highly collaborative, team-oriented
environment.
* Outstanding communication skills
* Ability to provide technical mentorship to more junior developers
* Experience developing and leading large complex systems
* Experience developing user interfaces and an eye for design a plus
* Exposure to a variety of web application frameworks such as JSF,
Struts, Spring a plus.
* Team leadership or people management experience a strong plus
