Oracle ERP Developer

Job Description:

Analyze, design, code, develop, test and document within a team-based
structure in support of enterprise ERP applications (Oracle 11i )
supporting an international business model. This includes
'requirements to implementation' capabilities and on-going support
of these ERP applications.
This position requires a minimum of 5 years experience supporting
Oracle Applications and a thorough knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle
APIs, Oracle Work Flow, the Oracle Applications technology stack, and
the process flow/interaction between the Oracle modules.
This position is responsible for application customizations and
extensions, business required report and metric creation/maintenance;
with a primary focus on critical advanced reporting, utilizing
enterprise reporting tools such as Discoverer, Business Objects,
Crystal Reporting, Optio, XML Publisher. Demonstrably strong experience
developing and maintaining IT business systems and software development
life cycles is required, with a minimum of 7 years experience in an IT
development environment.
This position requires strong interpersonal skills working with both
technical and business resources to provide high availability
functionality focused on driving business success. Written and verbal
communication is critical.
This position will closely interact with other technical resources and
with our IT Business Partners to clearly define and meet the functional
business needs.

As a senior developer in the ERP Applications Development team, the job
responsibilities will include the following:
Oracle 11i support/maintenance/enhancements for the following modules:
Oracle Order Management, Purchasing, Inventory, Oracle Contracts, OTL,
HRMS, Oracle Advanced Benefits, Oracle Financials, and TCA.
Handle the daily support/maintenance/enhancements for Optio printing
software, including environment setup and debugging.
Handle the daily support/maintenance/enhancements for VSS (version
control s/w), including user accounts setup/administration.
In-depth understanding of Agile (Item, ECO, and MCO migration s/w) and
the interact/interface between Agile and Oracle ERP system
An in-depth understanding of Vertex Sales Tax (tax engine for the U.S)
Customization work in related F&A enterprise applications (Commissions,
Pillar, Equity Edge,...)
Work on Oracle 11i Work Flow, Alerts, Interfaces, EFT programs,
customizations of APIs, Discoverer, Oracle Report 6i
Perform peer reviews of code

Requirements:
B.Sc. Computer Science (or equivalent)
5 years experience with technical development on the 11i platform
