Mechanical Engineer

Mechanical Engineer responsible for the design and documentation of
medical laser system. Work closely with electrical, optical and
mechanical engineers to design assemblies and system level components
for new laser systems. Also, work with the engineering team to provide
enhancements and upgrades to existing products.

Specific Job Related Duties:
The individual will be responsible for creating detailed part drawings
and assembly drawings using SolidWorks mechanical drafting program.
Design assemblies and systems used in laser products such as fluid
systems, delivery systems, electromechanical and optical assemblies.
Write ECO's and work with vendors to improve manufacturing of new and
existing products.

Qualifications and Special Skills: 5-10 years experience as Mechanical
Engineer. Three or more years
experience using SolidWorks. Experience with design of mechanical and
electro-mechanical assemblies,
machine parts, and fluid systems. BSME required. Medical design
experience preferred.

Duration: Permanent

Rate: 75-80K
