MARKETING COPYWRITER

integration market.

LOCATION:
Irvine, CA

DESCRIPTION:
Our client has a unique opportunity for a marketing copywriter to join
its world-class marketing team. Working within the developmental
software industry, the copywriter will write headlines, taglines, and
benefits-driven copy to support print and electronic marketing. Also,
he/she will write a broad range of corporate and product marketing
materials. Within this highly visible role, the copywriter will have
significant interaction with marketing/product management, customers,
partners, and all levels of the organization.

The Copywriter will report directly to the Director of Marketing
Communications and will serve as a key member of the global marketing
organization that is accountable for driving all marketing programs
worldwide.

RESPONSIBLITIES:
Writing a broad range of materials for corporate and product marketing
to include:
brochures, white papers, strategy briefs, print advertising, press
releases and press kits, customer newsletters, web site content, online
promotions for Webinars, and materials for trade shows, partner
marketing events, customer-specific events, and regional customer
gatherings.

EXPERIENCE EXPECTED:

Five years copywriting experience in an advertising agency, media,
integrated marketing firm, in-house hi-tech environment.

Exceptional skills in conceptual & creative writing, grammar,
punctuation, self-editing, and marketing copywriting for B2B markets.

Must be highly organized, flexible, detail oriented and solutions
driven.

Knowledge of software systems and software development industry a plus.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Marketing, or Communications is
preferred.
