Description: Title Asset Management Capture Manager Job # 9322BR City Annapolis State/Province Maryland Position Status Full Time Positions Remaining 1 Job Description ARINC is seeking a Asset Management Capture Manager to support our Army & Advanced Applications Division located in Annapolis, Maryland. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating all aspects of the capture process associated with global asset management. The expectation is that the global asset management market will grow considerably through increased sales, expanded customer base, and increased product offerings. The incumbents activities will be focused at winning specifically identified programs and emerging opportunities in the global asset management markets. Daily activities include: - Conducting analysis of market needs. - Establishing pursuit strategies, including appropriate partnering both cross divisionally and externally as required, with management team. - Conducting visits to key customer decision makers to influence emerging requirements. - Generating capture plans for pursuing specific opportunities. - Writing reports that detail customer requirements. - Advising management on the market and technical issues. - Creating and presenting product and service related presentations. - Assisting sales personnel with visits and demonstrations as necessary. - Provide marketing intelligence to management, including competitors offerings. - Developing sales forecast. Development of the capture plan includes: - Win themes, discriminators, marketing strategies, teaming strategies, weaknesses, resources, personnel required, and detailed schedules. - Develops competitive advantage assessments and translates capture information from the external environment into a win strategy to be used in the capture plan. - Manages and coordinates customer interaction to maximize the potential to understand, influence, and shape customer requirements. - Conduct marketing and capture development workshops to generate and propagate win strategy. - Responsible for all capture gate reviews. - Obtain consensus from Program Manager, Proposal Manager, opportunity approval authority, and cognizant functional managers in chain of command for problem resolution. - Serve as a liaison with other functional and business units in the development of technical material for proposals. - Contribute to the writing of assigned sections of the proposal. - Develop and execute business unit growth strategies that leverage ARINCs core capabilities and expertise. - Develop customer contact plans and serve as a key interface to customers in both the DoD and commercial environments. - Help to identify customer needs and develop detailed, targeted growth strategies supporting those needs. Qualifications Required Experience: The ideal candidate will possess thirteen (13) or more years technical experience. Seven (7) or more years management experience. Experience in developing business in the commercial, government, and DOD marketplaces. Experience in business development including developing contacts, creating marketing strategies, managing opportunities, and managing proposals. Must have extensive background in capture and proposal management for contracts. Must have extensive experience in managing the technical, business, and requirements aspects of programs. Customer relations experience is a must - Must have demonstrated experience interacting with leadership in the DOD and industry. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including US Citizenship, for access to classified information. Desired Experience: Experience in the asset tracking and management market place. Education/Certification Required: BS/BA degree, MSEE or MBA preferred.Experience in managing large projects and being responsible for business development of new areas for organizations. Must have experience with creating business development plans and implementing those plans. Must have experience with pulling teams together to focus on a common goal. Experience with developing new customers and opportunities. Experience with the entire business development cycle from strategic planning, opportunity development, customer interaction, requirement definition, proposal preparation, and contract award and implementation.
