US-MD - Great Plains Developer

New Directions Data Group furnishes a full range of solutions in the
Business Intelligence, Data Warehouse and Applications Presentation

warehousing, data marts and mining and database and Microsoft centered
applications development and programming.

competitiveness by providing subject matter experts who augment the
successful implementation of business critical corporate information
and data projects.

We are currently engaged with a client who is seeking a Great Plains
Developer - Administrator on a full time direct basis. In this role
you will administer and maintain Great Plains including creating users,
manage security and perform maintenance procedure.

The Great Plains Developer will be responsible for developing and
designing data integration between outside databases and software
applications and Great Plains; will create stand alone applications
that integrate with Great Plains; advise and provide technical support
to accounting department on best practices in using Great Plains.
Generate ad-hoc reports, develop and maintain other financial, billing
and reporting applications.

The appropriate individual will have demonstrated experience in
developing and administering Great Plains and preferred experience with
eConnect API. Additionally, the individual will have preferred
experience with SQL Server, Transact SQL, XML, .NET, Visual Basic and
SharePoint. A combination of knowledge of financial accounting,
financial reporting, preparation of financial statements,
Sarbanes-Oxley compliance are preferred.
