Description: Requisition #: MASL8673 Division: Major Accounts Sales Job Title: Broker Alliance Sales Manager Country: United States State: Maryland City: Owings Mills Location : Chesapeake-11411 Red Run Bl Employment Status: Full Time - Permanent Job Responsibilities: (Description) The Broker Alliance Sales Manager works with VP of Channel Alliances and field DVP Sales to execute MA alliance strategy within their geographical area of responsibility which will be the Maryland, Virginia, New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The candidate will reside preferably within this geographic region and can work from offices in any of these states or remotely. Responsible for building relationships with broker/carrier and other partners to drive incremental new business for Major Accounts. Evaluates, inspects, and reports on the ongoing success of each relationship and works to make improvements where necessary. Responsible for working with partner and ADP marketing personnel to identify and execute on opportunities to promote the alliance. Trains the alliance partner and their personnel on the ADP value proposition and our products and services. Builds awareness throughout ADP and our partner organization by communicating field success and best practices.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Meets or exceeds assigned quota for alliance generated business, and earns a bonus based on achievement. Trains field DMs and Sales Management to understand the benefits of alliance marketing and how to uncover and qualify alliance opportunities. Develops a pipeline of opportunities through direct contact or from leads generated by the field. Engages partners at the senior level and helps to select and pursue opportunities with maximum potential. Provides support to the field DM by following up on alliance opportunities. Develops a quarterly marketing plan in conjunction with partner personnel, corporate marketing and alliance management. Identifies materials, testimonials, collateral, etc necessary to promote the relationship. Promotes the partnership by leveraging partner and ADP marketing channels. Works with corporate legal where necessary to develop and sign agreements with partners/ Drives tracking of activity and sales generated overall as well as by region, sales team, and salesperson as a result of the program. Conducts plan and reviews with field management. Works with General managers and operations management to build awareness and orchestrate alliance programs within our implementation and service group while maintaining high service levels for partners. Highlights alliance opportunity to the field by contributing best practices and field success for Essentials publication.

SPECIAL ACCOUNTABILITY Responsibility for supporting MA sales by driving incremental revenue through alternative such as franchisers, software companies, Health Insurance brokers, associations and buying groups. Expected to drive current year sales and overall growth strategy. Since sales are the primary driver of long term revenue and profit growth, this position is critical to the long term success of the products. Driving results will require strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills as the position acts in a matrix management structure. The incremental sales and sales leads generated is imperative to the Major Accounts achieving its sales and revenue goals. QualificationsRequired (Experience, Skills, Academic): QUALIFICATIONS 1. Education: BA or BS or equivalent combination of education and experience. MBA preferred.
2. Experience: 3-4 years experience in channel marketing, product marketing and distribution channels. Prior experience with a large, direct, business to business sales force required. Proven proficiency and understanding of sales process, product capabilities/economics, operations and core marketing. Extensive knowledge of ADP Products and Service and Sales required.
3. Generic Skills: Excellent oral and communication and presentation skills required. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to conceptualize and sell ideas internally. Innovation and the ability to gain consensus is necessary. Negotiation skills essential. Must be a strong team player as well as an individual contributor. Good analytical skills.
