Mechanical Engineer - Heat Recovery - Ottawa, Ontario

TekSource Canada is currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer
specializing in Heat Recovery to join our clients' conversion
technology team. Reporting to the Mechanical Design Team Lead, the
ideal candidate has seven or more years of experience within positions
of responsibility related to the design and specification of Heat
Recovery Steam Generator, combined cycle, cogeneration, heating and
cooling systems in the energy, chemical, or petrochemical industries.
He or she has a degree in

Mechanical Engineering and possesses excellent problem solving and
communication skills.

The Challenge:
- Specify and design heat recovery and cooling systems
- Create specifications, requests for quotes and scopes of work
- Write technical reports, maintenance and operating procedures
- Participate in the start-up, testing, and commissioning of
conversion systems at client sites
- Define parameters for packaged subassemblies to be built in
integrated manufacturing plant
- Mentor other engineers

Your Expertise:
- 7+ years of direct experience in specification and design of HRSGs,
combined cycle, cogeneration, heating and cooling systems in process
and/or power industries
- Experience with high-temperature gasification would be an asset
- Proficiency with AutoCAD or SolidWorks would be an asset
- P.Eng or eligible to become one within a year
- Fluent in written and spoken English

Education:
- Mechanical Engineering Degree, Masters preferable
