Position: Medical Writer
Location: Connecticut
Salary: Commensurate on experience.

the acceptance of drugs into treatment guidelines and formularies, and

effective solutions are backed up by an exemplary level of service. <br />

Description:
The Medical Writer is responsible for developing medical education pieces from
clinical trial reports, the scientific literature, or any other informational
resource applicable to a specific editorial assignment. Examples of the
editorial materials a medical writer will produce are primary articles, review
articles, monographs, slide kits (both promotional and non-promotional),
newsletters, symposium highlights, supplements, audio and video scripts,
abstracts, and posters.

Requirements:

MD, PhD, PharmD, or life science
degree required
2-3 years medical writing experience required
Medical
education experience preferred
Asthma writing experience desired
Strong
organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
Ability to work as
part of a team
Ability to quickly assimilate different therapeutic areas
Ability to develop editorial materials to a high standard of quality within a
reasonable timeframe
Computer literate (Internet and Word required; PowerPoint
preferred)
