Microfocus_Cobol_Analyst_Programmers,_6_+_month_cont

Vantage Resources are looking to fill a pivotal development role in a
large IT Department that utilize Microfocus Server Express as one of
their development platforms running scaleable, high performance
business applications. These will include both batch programs and
online services utilising in a Java/Tuxedo environment.

You will have solid commercial programming experience using COBOL and
SQL and have extensive experience of using MF/COBOL products. Any
experience of using Unix scripts for batch processing or VIM, nEdite
tool-sets would be advantageous but not essential. In addition
experience of working on large maintenance and support teams would
also be beneficial. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a
large-scale modern structured IT department.

As this is a large IT department good communication skills, a mature
