Description General Description and Scope: The Manager, Corporate Finance and Risk Management is responsible for managing Honeywell’s commodities and interest rate hedging programs and executing Honeywell’s share repurchase activities. Responsibilities also include providing assistance and back-up coverage to the Foreign Exchange Manager, helping out with the month-end foreign exchange hedging process and assisting with other Treasury projects as needed (Tax restructuring, repatriation planning, M&A activities, bank relationship management, etc.). Duties/Responsibilities: Commodities * Coordinate cross-SBG initiative to identify, gather and quantify commodities risk for 2007 AOP. * Advise and educate SBUs on how to identify commodity exposures, provide market insight and develop hedging strategies. * Manage and execute natural gas and metals hedges for SBGs. * Organize market update calls for business units with commodity research analysts. * Ensure compliance with FAS 133 accounting rules for commodities derivatives. Interest rates * Track and report Honeywell’s global interest rate exposures including fixed- and floating-rate debt, leases, interest rate swaps and other interest-bearing financial assets and liabilities. * Research global macroeconomic trends and recommend interest rate hedging strategies to capitalize on these trends. * Ensure compliance with FAS 133 accounting rules for interest rate derivatives. Share Repurchases * Execute share repurchase for Honeywell and communicate daily activity to senior management. * Analyze share repurchase scenarios and effect on share count and capital structure. * Ensure compliance with SEC trading rules governing share repurchase activities. Foreign Exchange * Provide assistance and back-up coverage to Foreign Exchange Manager and help out with the month-end foreign exchange hedging process. * Deliver foreign exchange and commodities risk management training courses globally. This requires approximately 2 weeks of travel per annum. Other * Assist with other Treasury projects as needed, including Tax restructuring, repatriation planning, M&A activities and bank relationship management.

Qualifications * Four years of finance-related work experience. * MBA, CPA or CFA preferred. * Solid interpersonal skills and proven ability to work with and lead cross-functional teams. * Strong verbal and written presentation capabilities. * Comfortable interactively teaching foreign exchange and commodities risk management courses globally. * Analytical reasoning and creative problem-solving abilities. * Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. * Ability to play a strategic role in the Treasury risk management process and provide a disciplined approach to evaluating and improving the effectiveness of the organizations process and controls. * Excellent software skills (proficiency in Excel is required) and an understanding of data analysis techniques. * Ability and desire to take on projects outside the formal scope of this position and assume positions of increasing leadership responsibility in the future.
