Description: Title Client Services Mgr, US - NJ/NY Area Requisition No. 3427BR Location of Position USA-NJ-Parsippany General Function Client Service FT/PT Status Full Time Job Summary Position Purpose:Ensures that clients maximize business value from their current investments and are motivated to add incremental services. Provides insightful, value-added solutions that address client needs, resulting in improved customer satisfaction with IMS. This position services clients located in the New Jersey & New York areas. Principal Accountabilities: * Seeks awareness of client key priorities to facilitate revenue generation, service excellence and future growth. * Identifies client business issues in order to explain and expand the usage of current IMS deliverables and identify revenue opportunities within existing clients. * Translates client needs into action plans with the internal service team, determining responsibilities and timeframes and negotiating resources with internal departments. * Partners with the Account Manager to consult with the client in order to provide solutions to their business issues, and provide cost and turnaround proposals to the clients. * Monitors client satisfaction with contracted deliverables and works with sales management team and other client facing management to achieve and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. * Gathers details about delivery and database issues from the client, and consult with them on data investigations and projects. * Grows revenues by leveraging the full IMS offerings and identifying new business opportunities and forming close working relationships with the account management community. * Monitors IMS (and the clients) performance against existing Service Level Plans, and report the results to the client. * Acts as a facilitator on queries relating to marketing, market research, sales management, industry issues, trends, and IMS product, consulting and service capabilities. * Consults with the client on high priority data investigations and projects and serve as the client voice within IMS. * Proactively creates customer awareness of their needs (thus generating additional purchases). * Coordinates training in IMS Health databases, products and service requirements (e.g., report-input deadlines) as needed for the clients. * Explains the impact of industry events, IMS product enhancements and database issues on the clients business applications (compensation, targeting, forecasting, etc.). Minimum Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge Required: * Bachelors degree or equivalent and a minimum of five (5) years relevant account management experience. * In-depth knowledge of IMSs business and services and ability to be successful and work well in a matrixed environment. Additional Requirements: * Breadth of knowledge of the healthcare environment, market dynamics, therapy areas and business issues affecting the future of the industry. * Strong communication and presentational skills. * Strong interpersonal skills and relationship management experience.*CB* Major Job Duties
