Description: Overview: a The primary role of this job is to manage and coordinate the processing of all services and transactions for all Partners, Directors and employees within a Region.a The Payroll & Personnel Solutions (PPS) Regional Team Lead is responsible for ensuring the quality, efficiency, consistency and integrity of all payroll processes, services and payments.a The regional team lead assists in developing and maintaining relationships primarily with integral department contacts within the firm including Human Resources (local and national personnel), US PPS Hermitage, Operations, Finance, Call Center Benefits, and the Personnel Data Team.a These relationships would extend to any other groups within the firm that PPS interacts with on a frequent basis and also would include regional firm leadership members for all functions and channels (essentially Partners, Principals and Directors). a Responsibilities include: a Manages and coordinates the day-to-day activities, operations and services of the regional team members locally and remotely.a a The team lead is responsible for providing input into determining appropriate department staffing levels within the region.a The staffing activities include participation, along with Regional Manager, in the hiring, evaluating, counseling and mentoring of department personnel.a They will also provide input in situations that may result in the separation of department members.aa Develops all regional payroll and support services policies.a In addition, implements detailed processes and activities to support those policies in order to ensure that all firm and local standards and requirements are addressed and adhered to such as tax compliance with various federal and local taxing authorities, employment regulations as well as HR and US Entities Standards. a Works collaboratively with all regional services channels in providing appropriate levels of service in a seamless manner to all clients.a Consistently assess and refines services to our clients and introduce new services to add value. a Responsible for the resolution of complex problems or issues that have been unresolved at lower levels.a Advises guides and assists staff with any issues, but coaches them to handle matters independently. a Analyzes, develops, and implements process improvements by working with PPSS leadership to establish consistency and higher level of service offerings firm wide. a Handles special and / or sensitive payroll situations based on the request of firm and local leadership. Assists in the development of staff goals that align with functional and firm strategies and will provide input on performance evaluations. a Manages the PPS regional implementation of firm wide systems and programs (SAP, DPS, CRIS, Hermitage Notes & Loans, Online Forms, etc.) At times, serves as subject matter expert in developing some of these systems, and ensures that roll out runs smoothly . a Trains new PPS employees on all responsibilities along with the PPS senior specialists. a Manages the regional realignment of the PPS organization to align with the changing national structure.a Audits the Regional Central Notification Database to ensure timely processing of transactions by the team as it relates to New Hires, Transfers, Salary continuations and Separations. Prepares reports for payroll related needs or projects. a Participates (and represents the department) in regional and local offices activities relative to WIN, Diversity, HR councils, holiday events and other firm initiatives. a a a a a 3-5 years related experience in payroll, HR and customer service with a degree or 5-8 years experience in comparable leadership role, specializing in payroll or HR processing with SAP technology with a high school diploma a In-depth working knowledge of the firm and good understanding of individual entities and all related payroll requirements and able to influence the development of strategy across the PPSS organization. a Managerial experience preferred, especially as relates to workflow and employee matters. Strong conceptual, organizational and communications skills Significant experience in dealing with management and understanding their service requirements.a Able to negotiate service offerings and manage through transitions. Demonstrated dedication to ServiceFirst mentality and proven significant successes in leading diverse teams Successful experience in developing professionals including mentoring, evaluating, handling sensitive and confidential HR issues, and career counseling a Foster professional, productive work climate with teams and forming partnerships with internal customers and stakeholders a National responsibility of whole DTOS (overseas outbound operations/process).
