POSITION SUMMARY:



Lead team members in the design, development, implementation and support of applications to meet the clients business requirements



Prepare project plan, project estimates and task assignments



Design & Develop code to meet client requirements for globally used Work Flow Tool, CMS, and other Domino applications in the eChannel environment.



Design & Develop critical parts for Migration of content from current state application to new CMS using Domino.



Determine technical feasibility of approaches with Proof of Concepts to mitigate project risks.



Perform peer code reviews.






Analyze existing code and remediate performance issues within existing applications.






Analysis of existing business functions and new client requirements.



General Requirements:



Minimum 6 years of software development experience. Minimum 5 years of development experience with Domino building Domino based web applications.



Minimum 6 years experience in the analysis, design, and development of business applications.



Minimum 6 years experience in leading technical team members.



Minimum 5 years coding experience with



Domino & Notes, Java, J2EE, Windows/IIS, XML and Web Services, Javascript, CSS 2



Strong experience with
AJAX
, DHTML and Web 2.0 technologies.



Technical Skills:



Strong Web application development with Domino/Notes is essential.



Development experience with WebSphere Portal and tools such as WebSphere Portlet Factory and/or Lotus Component Designer highly preferred.



Development experience with C programming language is a plus.
Experience with SQL Server including knowledge of Stored Procedures, Database design, normalization, and optimization is a big plus.



Knowledge of networking technologies (Firewall, Proxies, VPN, TCP/IP, DNS, Cisco devices) are a plus



Knowledge of single sign-on solutions such as Netegrity SiteMinder is a plus



BS in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent work experience.



IBM WebSphere or SUN Java certifications are a definite plus.



Required Soft Skills:



Analysis of new and existing business processes and requirements



Prepare project plan, project estimates and task assignments



Align development activities with the project plan



Directly supervise staff members in the development, implementation and support of applications to meet the clients business requirements



Review, validate and confirm development estimates on a periodic basis with your team members and your supervisor



Design and document solutions



Ensure knowledge sharing among team members.



Ensure QA processes, procedures and documentation are completed on time.



Experience working directly with business partners to gather requirements, solve problems, or design solutions.



Ability to translate complex technical designs into language that will be understood by the client.



Ability to identify project risks and mitigation strategies.



Be able to balance multiple priorities and alert clients & team to project scope changes.



Excellent oral and written communication skills

Coordinate with clients regarding implementation into production to ensure that the use and implications of the application are understood
